Yahoo! Games Hub Pages

Redesign Yahoo! Games main game index pages to better meet the growing needs of the property.

The Project

The “hub pages” are the main way for users to find games on Yahoo! Games. With a new game strategy, the number of games available on the site were planned to grow exponentially, so the site needed a more flexible game-hub page to allow users to easily find games they are looking for as well as discover new games they might be interested in.

My Contribution

• Understand user goals and existing page shortcomings.
• Work closely with editorial to understand the programming needs and limitations for the site.
• Work together with product to push the experience yet keep it within realistic set of features for the project schedule.
• Work with creative to help guide the new experience with an equally new visual design.
• Main deliverable was detailed set of wireframes with specs.
