Who’s Next

Sponsored music program featuring emerging artists through special performances, interviews and user involvement to select the next big thing.

The Project

Established music program needed a refresh to attract new sponsors and a new user base. With existing programs more focused on mainstream artists, Who’s Next was a platform for Yahoo! editors to have more control to cover what they saw as emerging artists users should know about.

My Contribution

• Work with Researchers to revist and revise user personas in particular to this style of music.
• Work with creative and product manager to concept new features to help track and drive the next big thing through user participation.
• Full set of detailed wireframes and specs.
• This program was never implemented unfortunately.
