Improve the Red Carpet photo experience on Yahoo! Movies to better leverage big juicy photos, increase page views and encourage sharing.

What started as a project to monetize Red Carpet photos, evolved into a full-fledged photo gallery section of all photos for Yahoo! Movies. The main goal was to update the photo experience to better reflect the needs of entertainment users who wanted big glossy photos that are organized into galleries to make them more browsable for users and more marketable to advertisers.

My Contribution

• Understand user goals and existing photo experience shortcomings.
• Better organize photo experiences into an new photo section of the website.
• Improve photo experience consistencies across Yahoo! Entertainment.
• Work with creative improve wayfinding through new section giving existing navigation of overall Movies site.
• Main deliverable was detailed set of wireframes with specs.
